Vice Presidents Anonymous is a support group for recovering VPs, much like Alcoholics Anonymous is for alcoholics. But instead of sharing stories about struggles with alcohol, we share stories about struggles with greed, sleaze, aggression, delusion, paralysis and imbecility .

SUMMARY GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF CONTENT

All submissions should address one or more of the subjects noted above. Prior to submission, the Member must sign off on the Terms of us at the bottom of the GUIDELINES section below. Note: any item that is posted is owned by VPA while it is posted, and VPA retains the right to edit any and all submissions. If an item is copyrighted, it is up to the Member to determine that it can be posted to the VPA website. The Member must also be mindful of retaining his or her anonymity in making submissions of his or her own work. The strategy for accomplishing this is up to the Member.

USE OF NAMES

Except in those formats where names are essential such as obituaries, business memorabilia, movies, and articles, Members may not use actual names of companies, products, businesses, or individuals. This applies to all books, stories, comments, songs, pictures and other items that are created by the Members themselves. Members are encouraged to create fictional names instead.

OWNERSHIP OF ITEMS POSTED BY VPA AND RELATED VPA PLATFORMS

The Member owns any items submitted by Members to VPA that are posted. Submission of content by the Members conveys to VPA the right to post the items on the website and related VPA platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Members who wish to have submitted items removed from the posting on the website or other platforms and/or eliminated from the VPA archive must inform VPA by using the Contact Us section on the About Us page.

EDITING OF MEMBER SUBMISSIONS

VPA reserves the right to edit all submissions. Submission conveys to VPA permission for their use on the website. VPA makes no claim to ownership of any material submitted.

COMPENSATION

VPA does not compensate members for submitting, nor does VPA request compensation for posting Member materials. Members whose materials have been posted may use the VPA website as a reference for promoting their work elsewhere.

POSTING OF MEMBER SUBMISSIONS

Although VPA management expects to add material on a weekly basis, there is no set time frame for posting items following their submission. As noted, it may take as long as 12 months to post a Member’s book. There is no guarantee that items submitted will be approved for posting.
